UNDERRATED SONG! one of my personal favorite sonic level tracks. that build-up and resolution at around 0:55 seconds is so hype. dare i say.......eurphoric....
knowing that this game came right after the dark age, bits like this scream to me that sega was confident and proud of the game, almost as if to say "SONIC IS BACK!"

Who I Am - Mangna-Fi (Unused track from Shadow the Hedgehog)
I listen to this for hours developing games.
Backstory: This was supposed to be the opening theme but SEGA couldn't get Magna-Fi to agree to the contract so they told Crush 40 to record "I Am... All of Me" quickly.

I never gave Sonic & the Secret Rings a fair shake musically, but this week I sat down and really tried to listen to the whole thing.
and HOLY SMOKES!
there's a lot of good songs in here that I love. i'm embedding them all here in this post, they're in order so the first ones are my top favorites and as you go down it's less so, but those songs still rock.
do any of y'all like these songs that i ONLY NOW gave a chance?

Fellas, fellas, which version do you prefer? SA1 or the SA2 version of "It Doesn't Matter", personally, I love the latter. Also I've listened to the Splash Canyon theme so much during my time trying to get the stage down on Gear Riders that it is on the same level of a jam as Aquatic Time. Still prefer Aquatic tho
