castor and frontiers like this

Here's a collection of really useful resources and links I've collected from years of making Roblox games! I tried to organize them by broad categories, and gave each of them a quick description so you know what's up about them.
RbxMusic - A plugin for Roblox Studio that makes searching through Roblox's official catalog way easier. I can vouch for this one, it makes audio discovery so much faster. There's actually a lot of good music in Roblox's licensed catalog, but there's no way besides this and similar plugins to find that out fast.
LALAL.AI - Cool site where you can upload music and separate (or remove) things like drums, vocals, and more.
Textures.com - An awesome collection of free textures. Everything is mostly photo realistic though, so look elsewhere if you want something more stylized.
Load Roblox Character - Same thing as above, just a different flavor.
Font Matcherator - Is there a font in a game or a video or something that you want to use but you don't know what it's called? You can take a screenshot and upload it to this, and it'll try to give you that exact font or ones that are very similar.
If you have resources of your own feel free to drop them in the thread too!
Scripting
Roblox Dev Forum - Forum where developers support each other, share resources they've made, and report bugs and glitches with Roblox Studio. If you're ever stuck on something, see if someone already asked your question here. More often than not they have, and there's an answer. I have the best luck typing my question into Google and adding "Roblox Dev Forum" at the end of my search.
Roblox API Documentation - Roblox's official engine API reference. This is an amazing reference if you don't know what actions, like functions and methods, a certain class of objects can use. There's occasionally tutorials, but this is more-so a hardcore instruction manual showing you everything under Luau's (Roblox's programming language) hood.
YouTube Tutorials - I'd be crazy if I didn't also include YouTube tutorials here. AlvinBlox had my back for years, and Roblox's introductory scripting series is what helped me make my first scripted game ever. From simple tutorials for how to create functions, to full-on tutorials on how to code DDR and tower defense games, there's a lot of great tutorials here.
Scripting Helpers - Another site like the Dev Forum, but now it's in read-only mode. In its heyday it was superior to the Dev Forums, but obviously now in read-only mode you should only be using to search your question and seeing if anyone here asked a similar thing.
Music & Sound Design
Sounds Resource - Premium outpost for voice clips and sound effects from real games. Be mindful of copyright if you use anything from here, particularly in a game where players are paying you Robux.
DOVA-SYNDROME - A Japanese royalty-free music website. Some developers already pull from this site, but not a tremendous amount, so if you find music you like here, you can be reasonably sure it'll stand out on Roblox. Unless you speak Japanese, you'll want to set the language of the site to English before searching.

Newgrounds Audio Portal - Lots of artists are honing their craft and post their music here, and many have licensing settings that allow you to use their songs in your games. MAKE SURE to check the licensing on a song (bottom left corner of a song page) before using it, and ensure you're free to copy, distribute and transmit their work.
Zophar's Domain - A big collection of video game music ripped directly from all sorts of obscure and popular games. Since these are direct source rips, the tracks here are often in higher quality than on YouTube, and there's many in-game versions of tracks here that aren't available anywhere else. Be mindful of copyright again.
Mod Archive - A huge collection of user-submitted module file music; it's that old 80s and 90s DOS-sounding stuff. The Public Domain songs are available for you to use in your games, but you'll probably want to record them in something like Audacity to upload to Roblox. Other songs with different licensing might be available too, but that'll depend on what the artist says on this site or their other websites.

Modeling & Texturing
Textures Resource - Textures from real games. Again, be mindful of copyright.
Models Resource - Same thing as above, disclaimer included, just for 3D models that you can import directly through Studio.

Spriters Resource - Sprites from real games. Be mindful of copyright, I honestly recommend just not using anything from Nintendo at all across all the "Resource" sites.
Textures.com - An awesome collection of free textures. Everything is mostly photo realistic though, so look elsewhere if you want something more stylized.
F3X Building Tools - There was a time where I used to swear by and ONLY use this plugin for modeling in Studio. I've since opened up a little more to Roblox's default building tools, but F3X is still great. You can easily add lights onto parts, and you can select and edit just certain parts of a model super easily. This is my anchor plugin that I absolutely need, out of everything.
Archimedes - Select a part or a model and easily rotate it on any plane at any degree automatically without having to readjust it manually yourself. Once DigitalPurgatory showed us this plugin, it's become one I can't live without.
Model Resize - Easily resize an entire model with the drag of your mouse. This is one of the plugins I can't live without.
Stravant: Model Reflect - Select an entire model, and flip it on a plane of your choice. Another plugin I can't live without. The Stravant series also includes plugins for filling in the gap between two parts, flipping the material of a part, and more.
Load Catalog Items - An awesome plugin if you don't want to model a prop or an object, but you know it exists on the Roblox catalog and want to import it into your game instead. Just grab the catalog ID of the item and slap it in!
Character Loader - Import peoples' Roblox characters super easily. They're a dime a dozen, but this is the one I personally use.
Font Matcherator - Is there a font in a game or a video or something that you want to use but you don't know what it's called? You can take a screenshot and upload it to this, and it'll try to give you that exact font or ones that are very similar.
Animation
Classic Animation Editor - A plugin that allows you to use the older Roblox Studio animation editor. It's easier to use, but there's a lot of features missing compared to the modern editor and it also bugs out fairly regularly.
UI Design
Game UI Database - A great site to use for UI design inspiration. The collection of games is pretty small, but the upside is that most of the popular games are here. Sports games are particularly neglected here, for example.

Software
Audacity 2.3.0 - Easiest program to record and edit sounds. I STRONGLY recommend you scroll down and download 2.3.0 and not a more recent version. Enable Stereo Mix on Windows to record audio on Audacity that you're hearing your computer play.
GIMP 2.10.8 - I'm gonna get a lot of hate for this, but I main GIMP when it comes to texture and graphic editing. It's free and I learned how to use it when I was super little so it makes sense to me, even if GIMP is crazy. If you have the patience to learn it, give it a shot.
Paint.NET - Fills in the gaps where GIMP fails, especially when it comes to opening really weird, obscure image types. Many folks say it's way easier to use too.
Mixcraft 10 - Want to get started mixing and produce your own music? Mixcraft is probably the easiest digital audio workstation (DAW) for beginners to jump into. It's like a more complex GarageBand, but the complexity offers you more flexibility in what you can do. There's a free trial and even after it's expired, you can still use the software as far as I know. There's just an annoying popup every now and then. Whenever you see me posting music and remixes on YouTube, they're almost always made in Mixcraft.
