i'll have to reboot this group if i ever want to start this up, since i don't have access to it anymore, but the Super Cake Hockey League was a placeholder name and group where I wanted to help kickstart a "pro" roblox hockey league where the league owned the teams, but coaches, managers, and players would have been paid!
it was a neat idea and our finances last year (before i lost access to the group) were at the point where the league could have afforded to pay everyone 3 or 4 Robux.
it wasn't anything crazy by any means, but the idea to pay players and staff was a super motivating factor for keeping the placeholder and never outright killing the dream.
maybe we could have even put in a salary cap for managers to manage! who knows what could have been.
but anyways, it's about time i showed you the logo, right? the reason you're here.
well, here it is. take a good look at it:
nothing crazy, you suppose? take another look at it. but picture this: the line trailing from the "S" all the way across the logo is a skate blade. the shape of the "SCHL" is the boot of the skate, with it facing left.
check out how the H is like the lip of the skate and the L is the back of the boot! if you squint hard enough, it totally does look like a hockey skate.
that's the shocking truth. this whole time, the SCHL logo was meant to look like the profile-view of a hockey skate.
it was inspired by the QMJHL logo that sets out to do the exact same thing (this was the logo of the league at the time, they've since touched it up a bit):
