we'll try not to get too crazy on this because i'm sure some folks will disagree with each other, but i wanted to start this thread based on some stuff i was thinking about lately: which game (in your opinion) wrote Sonic the best?
i'll give you my answer: in my opinion i think Sonic & the Black Knight did it best
i like the kind of moody and melodramatic vibe the game has. Sonic is still very peppy and snarky and witty, but it's really cool how the way he thinks about life is really challenged and pushed into being a major theme by the end of the game.
there's also lots of good one-liners and memes in that game too. because sometimes the writing got a little too melodramatic and then sonic would have to comment on it.
BUT OVERALL, i think Sonic & the Black Knight wrote Sonic the best. how about you, which game do you think wrote him the best and why?
